‘Miss you’ is the highly anticipated single by 14 years old YouTube sensation Aaron Martyn, produced by East London’s Ry tunez with production credits spanning the likes of Sean Paul, Jess Glynne, Wretch 32, Shizz BMO amongst others.
The track is a tribute to Aaron’s late Grandmother who was a major influence on his life and had a profound impact on him. “Nan, she was more like a mom to me and I miss her. This record was one of the hardest but most rewarding records I have ever done” Confesses the young artist who co-wrote the lyrics with his father Darren Martyn co-writer of Tom Zanetti ft. Sadie Ama ‘You Want Me’ and M.O – ‘Dance On My Own’ and Founder of DM Unsigned.
Aaron Martyn captured the attentions after releasing his cover version of One Dance by Drake which got over 125,000 Views on YouTube. Since then he has released two EPs, ‘Thirteen’ that got premiered on Linkup TV and made a stamp on UK urban scene and ‘From Dm To The Dm’ including the single ‘Slide Into My Dm’ that made a big splash in 2017. He also teamed up with Eastenders Star Maisie Smith to deliver 20 shows during Scotland school tour last summer. The two young stars have also performed several covers on YouTube which have racked up thousands of views.
Aaron took a break due to the unfortunate incident not long after the release of ‘Slide Into My Dm’, but he is back now in studios working on exciting projects to be released in 2018.
